
Electronic Arts recently announced the release of its new Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: the Master for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii.
The game, developed by EA Tiburon, features 25 courses, including the Royal Melbourne Golf Club, Pebble Golf Links and the Augusta National Golf Club, home of the Masters Tournament.
Gamers have more than 20 professional golfers to play as, including Rickie Fowler, Bubba Watson and Zach Johnson. The game's career mode sees players start as amateurs and work their way through small tours until eventually getting invited to participate in the PGA Tour.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 can be played with traditional controllers or with the PlayStation Move and Wii MotionPlus. Gamers who want to get the most out of the simulated golf experience can run their console in conjunction with an HDTV, an LED monitor or a
DLP projector.
Electronic Arts, maker of Mass Effect 2 and Madden NFL 11, also announced the release of the PlayStation 3-exclusive Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 Collector's Edition, which includes additional courses.
