According to a recent CNET article, the recently released trailer for the upcoming video game Dead Island, is the “best ever.”
The trailer for the game, which offers first-person shooter or four-play cooperative modes, involves surviving on a tropical island overrun by zombies.
A CNET author wrote the trailer’s “swelling symphonic soundtrack, mixture of bright colours and brutal violence - which may be too much for some readers - and its ingenious reverse-motion storytelling achieve the kind of heart-wrenching emotion in three minutes that George Romero has been struggling to find in his zombie films over the last few decades.”
In addition to the game’s options, it will offer gamers weapon customization and RPG elements for character development. For those fans of zombie apocalypse, Dead Island is the perfect game to hook a system up to an HDTV, high-tech computer or HDMI projector and attempt to survive.
The overwhelming positive response to the trailer has already created speculation that a real-world movie is being created based upon the game’s events.
