Video game publisher and developer Bethesda Softworks recently excited fans by announcing the upcoming releases from its 2011 lineup, including the highly anticipated Rage and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Rage will become available in North America on September 13 and in Europe on September 16. Developed by id Software, Rage is one of the most anticipated first-person shooters slated to hit shelves this year. According to Bethesda, the game will utilize id's Tech 5 technology to feature "jaw-dropping" graphics.
Meanwhile, the latest installment to the award-winning Elder Scrolls series will be released worldwide on November 11. The epic saga continues to develop ideas established in previous games by featuring a re-imagined fantasy world.
Both games will be available on multiple platforms. Gamers who want to get the most out of the action can connect their console to an HD-TV, LED monitor or HDMI projector to play in crystal clear quality.
Bethesda also announced release dates for the first-person shooter Brink, which will be available on May 17, and the fantasy action game Hunted, available June 1.
