Video game developer Naughty Dog recently announced the third installation of acclaimed action-adventure series Uncharted will be available November 1, 2011, exclusively on PlayStation 3.
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception will once again follow the story of treasure hunter Nathan Drake. Rather than a South American rainforest or snow-capped mountains of Tibet, this installment finds Drake in the middle of the Arabian Desert, searching for a lost city referred to as the Atlantis of the Sands.
The Uncharted series is known for its creative video game mechanics, story lines and graphics. Gamers who want to get the most out of the sweeping desert landscapes and masterful physics can connect their PlayStation 3 to an HD-TV, LED monitor or
DLP projector for a stunning graphic display.
Released in 2007 and 2009, the two previous Uncharted installments have been well received and earned a number of awards, including IGN's 2009 Game of the Year for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. According to Naughty Dog, the series has sold more than 8 million copies worldwide.
