Sony recently announced the arrival of the latest installment of Polyphony Digital's popular racing video game series Gran Turismo.
Available exclusively on the PlayStation 3, Gran Turismo 5 includes a handful of enticing features, such as custom course design, a new physics engine and, for the first time in the series, 3D graphics.
Sony said Gran Turismo 5 will attract both old and new racing video game fans. It features more than 1,000 cars and more than 20 pre-designed courses, including well known circuits as well as city courses.
Gamers who want to get the most out of the realistic driving experience and highly detailed environments can connect their PlayStation 3 console to an HD-TV, LED monitor or
DLP projector to feel like their actually in the driver's seat.
Gran Turismo 5 has already received favorable reviews from gamers and critics alike. Video game website IGN gave the game a "great" 8.5-out-of-10 rating, calling the driving experience as "exhilarating as anything that's gone before."
