Gamers who want to get the most out of their virtual rock concerts can connect their console to an HDMI projector to play in high-definition quality. With the introduction of new instruments, difficulty levels and access to more than 2,000 songs, Harmonix’s and MTV Games’ new Rock Band 3 has already received rave reviews from critics.

“Rock Band 3 is the best music video game I’ve ever played,” G4TV reviewer Stephen Johnson wrote. “While no game can be all things to all people, Rock Band 3 comes close. It is both a great party game and an entirely hardcore music game experience.”

Rock Band 3 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii earned perfect five-out-of-five ratings from both G4TV and Joystiq.com. It is now available in North America and will be released in Europe on October 29.

In a press release, Harmonix and MTV Games called Rock Band 3 the “deepest Rock Band experience yet.” The game comes with 83 songs with additional access to over 2,000 downloadable tracks via the Rock Band Music Library. The game features music from such musicians as Paramore, John Lennon, Phish, Billy Joel and more.

Gamers who want to get the most out of their virtual rock concerts can connect their console to an HD-TV, LED monitor or HDMI projector to play in high-definition quality.

Rock Band 3 extends Harmonix popular rhythm-action video game series, which also includes spin-offs The Beatles: Rock Band and Lego Rock Band.
