This year’s installment, which goes on sale this Tuesday for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and 2, Wii, PSP and PC, marks the 2K Sports debut of Jordan.
NBA 2K11 marks the debut of Jordan to the 2K Sports franchise. The game follows the evolution of Jordan’s career, from his rookie year in 1984 through his retirement in 2003, detailing everything from his signature shoes to his famous tongue wag. Gamers can replay the most memorable games from Jordan’s Hall of Fame career - from his 63-point outburst in 1986, to the famous “Flu Game” against the Utah Jazz in the 1997 NBA Finals.
Gamers who connect their console to an HD-TV, LED monitor or gaming projector can play as Jordan or any of their other favorite players in pristine, high-quality graphics.
The NBA 2K series has been a top seller since its debut in 1999. NBA 2K11 follows on the strengths of last year’s award-nominated NBA 2K10, and is likely to be once of this year’s biggest releases.
