Activision Publishing’s latest installment of its popular Guitar Hero video game series is set to hit stores on Tuesday with Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock.
Following the format of previous games in the Guitar Hero series, Warriors of Rock lets gamers rock out to some of their favorite songs using plastic guitars, drum pads and a microphone.
Warriors of Rock’s Quest Mode takes gamers on an epic journey to save rock by jamming away to over 90 tracks from some of the biggest bands in rock, including Black Sabbath, Queen and Soundgarden. Narrated by KISS’ Gene Simmons and featuring characters with magical rock powers, the journey eventually culminates into a final struggle between the Demi-God of Rock and the Beast.
Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock features new equipment such as a redesigned drum kit and a new guitar with a customizable body. Gamers who want to get the best picture out of their rock experience can hook their consoles to an HDTV, LED monitor or HDMI projector.
The game will be available on X-Box 360, Wii and PlayStation 3.
