Rockstar Games announced on Tuesday the availability of Red Dead Redemption’s Legends and Killers Pack for digital download through Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.
The add-on features a range of new options from award-winning game developer, Rockstar Games.
“With Legends & Killers we wanted to provide a wealth of new content for fans of Red Dead Redemption,” said Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games. “We took care to pick out areas that were unique and exciting and then polished them to provide the best possible multiplayer experience.”
The new download offers gamers twice the amount of multiplayer maps, with nine new weapons-balanced locations. Players who want to experience the western-themed title in all of its blazing glory can connect their consoles to an HD TV, LCD monitor or
HDMI projector and experience the new fog-filled riverside at Thieves’ Landing in pristine, high-quality displays.
The game also boasts eight classic characters, including Red Harlow, Jack Swift and Annie Stoakes from 2004’s Red Dead Revolver that can be used during multiplayer mode.
Red Dead Redemption was released on May 18, 2010 and was lauded for its detailed storyline and expansive territories. The game currently has 95 points out of 100 on Metacritic.
