The wait is over for fans of the Madden franchise. The newest title, Madden NFL 11, was released on Tuesday, two days after the NFLs first preseason game of the year.
Madden football video games are a perennial fan favorite, and EA Sports latest effort will surely maintain the same cult status as its predecessors.
The new game offers many new features, including a 3-on-3 Online Team Play option and the GameFlow system. The latter allows players to step into the pads and helmet of an NFL quarterback to run an authentic, situational game plan a single play at a time.
Gamers who connect their consoles to an HD TV, LED monitor or
HDMI projector will experience the games new intuitive animations in full effect. The enhanced stadium and athlete details are best fitted for high-quality displays.
The game also offers a more in-depth and responsive commentary system to make stepping on the field more realistic than ever before.
In conjunction with the new release, EA Sports is holding a Madden Gras celebration in New Orleans, Louisiana. The marketing campaign included the Pigskin Pro-Am, which aired on Sunday, and a behind-the-scenes video of the making of Madden NFL 11, which will be broadcasted today.
