
BioWare announced on Thursday that it has begun developing a sequel to the award-winning game Dragon Age: Origins.
The next title in the series will feature more action, a more versatile combat system and an engrossing storyline sure to please fans of the original. Gamers will play as Hawke, an impoverished refugee who rises to power, through a storyline covering 10 years.
Mark Darrah, the games executive producer said the development team is trying to amplify aspects of the original that appealed to fans, while also enhancing the games graphics and creating an innovative storyline.
Gamers who want to further enhance the improved gameplay can connect their Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 console to an HD TV, LCD monitor or HDMI
gaming projector and explore the Dragon Age world with stunning displays.
The first Dragon Age received numerous accolades, including winning honors for best PC game and best RPG game at the 2009 Spike Video Game Awards. The sequels debut trailer will be released on August 17, 2010.
