While many gamers could be turned off by the recent turmoil created by the golfing legend, the latest Tiger Woods-endorsed video game has improved in all facets, 411Mania reports.
Many changes to game play have improved Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2011 from its previous year's installment. Adjustments to the True-Aim and Focus features allow users to judge courses in a more precise fashion and hit more accurate shots. With the new Swing Turner feature, players can adjust power, accuracy and putting.
The game's emphasis is its Ryder Cup mode, which pits the best U.S. golfers against those from Europe, creating a fun competition.
If a gamer accumulates enough XP points throughout the game - done by reaching certain thresholds or winning competitions - a Skills Challenge mode opens, where the gamer can challenge pros, skilled in different areas of the game. XP points can also unlock a Team Golf mode, where 24 players can team up and compete.
The graphics continue to stand out, as details for each character and course are expertly crafted, certain to heighten the game experience for those users hooked up to high-definition screens, computers or HDMI projectors.
The game will debut on June 8, but a demo is available for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 users currently.
