UFC Undisputed 2010 hit stores on Tuesday and offers gamers an improved experience within the octagon, 5thRound.com reports.
The game is a follow-up to last year's UFC Undisputed 2009, but apparently only shares the similar name in common. The graphics have been enhanced, especially on the fighters themselves, showcasing tattoos or scars. Also, the crowd surrounding the ring has been given an upgrade, so any gamer with his or her console hooked up to an HDTV, high-definition computer or HDMI projector will feel like a live combatant.
The game play has also been given an overhaul, after many complaints arose with last year's edition. New movement patterns and functions will allow gamers to move their characters more smoothly when engaged in a tough battle. Game producer Neven Dravinski told ESPN in an interview regarding the game that "we just added so much this year, there's no going back [to last year's game]."
The career mode is a definite upgrade, as more effort and focus must now be exerted to train a fighter embarking on a lifetime in the octagon.
The game is available on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and the Playstation Portable.
UFC Undisputed 2009 was released in May 2009 and sold more than one million units during its first month, according to NPD.
