On Friday afternoon, the first images of Killzone 3 surfaced on the internet. Despite not revealing much in the photos, the game's graphics have the series' fans excited for the new installment, Product-Reviews.net reports.
Reportedly, the game's graphics are being developed by Naughty Dog, the company responsible for Uncharted 2, which, as Product-Reviews states, many gamers state contains the greatest graphics ever for a console game.
The enhanced graphics and new features - like jetpacks and new arctic levels - will allow gamers with HDTVs, high-definition computers or HDMI projectors to experience a heightened, intense gameplay.
The eight newly released pictures are available in the latest GamePro magazine, which gave the previous installment a perfect score.
The game is being developed exclusively for Sony's Playstation 3 and has been rumored to have an April 2011 release, according to Gaming Target.
Killzone 2 was released in February 2009 and sold more than 323,000 copies in its first two days, according to Kotaku.
