Video gamers can stop looking for their next big racing game, Autoweek.com reports. Formula One 2010, the latest from Codemasters, allows users to enter the cockpit of an F1 racer and then blow through some of the world's toughest circuits.
The game, which launches in September, possesses incredible, "gorgeous" graphics that will no doubt make users playing it on an HDTV, high-definition computer or HDMI projector feel like they're actually in the racer itself.
Formula One will be available on XBox 360, Playstation 3 and PCs and includes all of the current F1 season's drivers, cars and courses, as well as incorporating night driving and inclement weather conditions to affect play. Virtual drivers now must account for puddles, potholes and pit stops.
Users can only hope that the gaming control of the cars is similar to Codemasters' last racing venture, GRID.
While many racing-game enthusiasts wait patiently for the release of Gran Turismo 5 later this year, Formula One 2010 can more than fill the void.
