Starcraft II hype building as Blizzard prepares to release map editor and Mac version

The already-deafening buzz around Blizzard's upcoming release of Starcraft II has grown even further this week, as the game developer announced that the latest patch for its limited beta of the game would include a map editor, and that a Mac version of the game will be out within days.
Gaming news site Kotaku quotes Blizzard lead designer Chris Sigaty as saying that "the developer is planning to release the game's map and mod editor for those already enjoying the PC version of the game's beta sometime this week, letting players add their own creations and game mode customizations. Expect that alongside a substantial patch to the game very soon."
Homemade content for the game could prove a big hit among gamers, whether it is viewed on an LCD TV, high-end computer monitor, or HDMI projector.
In addition, tech news site Soft Sailor reports that users will be able to sell the content they create online through a Blizzard-provided marketplace, once the game is released to retailers.
