Anticipation in the gaming community is growing steadily as the April 27 release of the latest in the long line of Street Fighter video games draws nearer.
Yoshinori Ono, the game's producer, told GameSpot that many of the changes since the last game were the result of community input. "We heard the community on the character unlock issue, new characters, tuning direction, online features - I can go on with the list forever. Along with our Western Capcom offices we have gathered global opinions through official qualitative research, comments on web sites, [social networking sites] like Facebook, blog articles, and anything that we could get our hands on."
The newest version of the game will feature several new characters and updated graphics, which should make Super Street Fighter IV a more enjoyable experience whether it's played on a plasma-screen TV or HDMI projector.
The previous version, Street Fighter IV, was a widely acclaimed "series reboot" that - critics said - returned the game to its arcade roots, with frantic gameplay and colorful characters.
