EA to release demo of latest World Cup soccer video game April 8, 2010
Video game maker Electronic Arts has released a demo version of its upcoming FIFA World Cup 2010 title. The demo is available for download from both the PlayStation store and Xbox LIVE marketplace for free. Aficionados of video-game soccer are eager to learn more details about the game, specifically its graphics. "Does it look as good as FIFA 10, or has EA 'cashed in?'" asks Alan Ng at Product Reviews. The difference between a huge seller and a flop can often be how good the game looks on an HDMI projector. An earlier hands-on preview of the game, posted by Andy Alderson of Inc Gamers, touted a number of new features in World Cup 2010. "From a visual perspective, that means you can expect team-specific crowd shots during games, improved player likenesses and lovely textured pitches. You'll also see team managers pacing their respective technical areas throughout the game. It may not sound like much, but it all combines to create an experience which is more like a TV broadcast than ever before." | Sifteo cubes offer unique gaming opportunities
