The new Lake Minneola high school in central Florida is preparing its students for the future with cutting-edge classroom technology.
Students entering the school this fall will all be equipped with tablet devices in place of textbooks. The tablets can download and store large amounts of information, from books to journals and study resources. An internet browser is also included for interactive online learning and research.
"Every classroom is equipped with a digital projector," noted school district facilities director Gary Parker, as reported by Orlando News13. "There is a teacher workstation that is here that the work the kids are doing on the iPads can be displayed through the cameras."
Schools that provide and promote technological advances like popular reading tablets and the best HDMI projectors not only enjoy the streamlined and efficient teaching process they afford, but also foster technologically savvy students.
Many teenagers are already familiar with the new school features, and may take a deeper interest in learning thanks to the popularity of using such devices. With an emphasis on science and mathematics, in addition to an array of alternative classes, the school will provide a unique high school experience for Lake County children.
