IT communications company Remark Group recently assisted the Nenegate School in Eastfield, Peterborough, put together a timetable for implementing new technology in the classroom.
According to an Industry Today report, the Remark Group lent its expertise and was able to provide the school with information about the latest educational technology.
The school is already benefiting from the installation of a monitor, screen and overhead projector in not only each of its classrooms, but its dining hall and corridor as well, Industry Today reports.
Educators have found that technology in the classroom, such as broadband internet, an HD-TV or an HDMI projector can help them create a learning environment where students are more involved with the lessons and eager to participate.
"This equipment helps us to keep the pace when it comes to learning," said deputy head teacher Julie Potter. "The projectors in each of the classrooms create a fun and exciting atmosphere for learning in an interactive environment that helps hold the pupils' attention."
Many schools around the world are investing in interactive technology to improve educational resources for their students. For example, John Robson Elementary School in New Westminster, British Columbia, recently announced an ambitious goal of installing interactive smartboards in each of its classrooms.
