Bogota High School in New Jersey will use state grants to purchase new projectors

The New Jersey Department of Education recently approved a grant of $463,110 to Bogota High School to upgrade its facilities, NorthJersey.com reports.
Governor Chris Christie recently said, Efficient, up-to-date school facilities are a priority of this administration and part of ensuring New Jersey children receive a quality education.
The school will spend the grants on new technology investments, including the addition of new computers, laptops and
classroom projectors.
Schools across the country are realizing the benefits of using sustainable and interactive technology to promote new educational opportunities for students. The use of projectors have helped expand topics to a wider range of students, creating classrooms that encourage participation.
The grants will fund critical projects across our state, helping to improve the learning environments for our students and providing necessary support to districts by easing their local property-tax burden, Christie said.
More than 177 school districts in the state were eligible to receive a portion of $270 million. If approved, the 740 eligible projects would cost nearly $700 million and lead to the creation of 6,000 jobs to last duration of the construction.
