November 17, 2010

The Government Video Expo is expected to educate professionals about audiovisual and video, including pointers for programming a business projector.Electronics media publisher NewBay Media recently announced a partnership with InfoComm International to host a conference designed to educate and train government audio/video professionals.

According to NewBay, thousands of A/V and video workers are expected to attend the Government Video Expo being held from November 30 through December 2 in Washington, D.C. The partnership will expand the event by introducing the InfoComm Academy program, a separate, two-day conference intended specifically for A/V professionals who work in the government.

The InfoComm Academy program will offer several sessions meant to provide A/V professionals information about digital signage, audiovisual standards and pointers for choosing and programming a business projector.

"This conference track, combined with our other sessions, has enabled Government Video Expo to offer its growing attendee base our most comprehensive educational program to date," said NewBay Media Executive Vice President of Video Broadcast Carmel King.

Earlier this year, NewBay and InfoComm also collaborated to launch Digital Signage 2010, an online conference geared toward digital signage professionals.
