The Greenwood Chamber of Commerce in Greenwood, Indiana, recently showed off its new 2,900-square-foot headquarters to a crowd of over 200, IndyStar.com reports.
The new location is more than twice the size of its old residence, said Greenwood Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Christian Maslowski, and it features a handful of new amenities, including a Wi-Fi network connection, a private offices and a conference room with an overhead projector and several display screens.
The new technology will allow chamber members more capabilities, including webinars, videoconferencing and presentations. By projecting a videoconference or digital presentation, the chamber can reach out to a wider audience and engage clients.
The new headquarters also has a spacious resource center where Chamber of Commerce members can use their laptops to arrange appointments or contact clients, and a private office furnished with a desk and several chairs.
“So many people are starting their own businesses these days, and they need to a private place to meet clients,” Maslowski said. “Now they can come in here and use this space. It’s just one more way we are serving our members.”
