The California Coast Venture Forum recently announced the 12th annual Clean Business Investment Summit, which will take place on August 13 at the Corwin pavilion at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
The event will bring together leaders in the green energy industry to discuss new technologies, equipment, ethics and sustainable business practices.
The sustainable green energy market has exploded recently, with many companies investing in energy-saving computers, solar paneling and mercury-free
business projectors.
Many clean energy companies will be present at the event to showcase their products and business practices for potential investors.
Jerry Knotts, president and CEO of the California Coast Venture Forum, said the summit will help strengthen investor relationships and opportunities, build strategic paternships and assist in efficiently expanding market share and impact.
Using sustainable products can help a business reduce its long term energy expenses, as well as meet a growing demand from consumers for more green equipment. A recent poll of small businesses found 61 percent of respondents said moving the country to clean energy is a way to restart the economy and fuel job growth.
