New report finds more schools are incorporating computers and projectors into lesson plansTechnology has grown exponentially in the classroom, offering teachers new interactive learning techniques that were unavailable a decade ago, Ahwatukee Foothill News reports.

Nancy Dudenhoefer, public information officer for the Kyrene School District in Arizona, said in the report the computer to student ratio is currently one computer for every 1.8 students. The remarkable availability of technology for schools has many looking for additional equipment to further enhance their learning objectives.

Classrooms throughout the country are using projectors to reach more students at one time, the report relays. By connecting a computer to an HD TV, LCD monitor or classroom projector, teachers can create an interactive environment that will foster participation and student communication.

In addition, documents, projects or online videos and educational games can be projected to an entire classroom, offering students real-time access to an abundance of helpful digital content.

Schools have begun investing in laptops and smartboards to get students excited about new technology and innovative ways of learning. Generally, they will connect these instruments with new, sustainable projectors to maximize their benefits.ADNFCR-3190-ID-19910052-ADNFCR
